The government has not been approached with a proposal to part fund any relocation of the Museum of Childhood by either the City of Perth or Lotterywest. The Western Australian Museum provides advice to the Museum of Childhood and Edith Cowan University to assist in planning for a viable future. Partnership options are being explored by staff of the Western Australian Museum, the Museum of Childhood and Edith Cowan University.
