for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me
by the Minister for Electoral Affairs. The Acting Electoral Commissioner has
advised as follows.(1) Yes.(2) Not applicable.(3) The size of the workforce required will depend
on the number of elections to be conducted. The Acting Electoral Commissioner
is confident all local government elections will be appropriately staffed.(4) The commission and Persol are currently
meeting daily regarding staffing for the local government elections.(5) Returning officers have been identified for
each local government and are in various stages of the appointment process.
