HEALTH STRATEGY
1241. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Women's Interests:
I refer to the answer provided to question
without notice 711 asked on 29 August 2018, which states —
� it is understood that a whole-of-government
approach to women's policy is proposed �
(1) Has this work commenced; and, if
not, when will it commence?
(2) Will the
minister list the stakeholders who will be consulted as part of the development
of the policy?
(3) If yes to (1), when will the
work be completed and will it be made public?

I note that this information was
provided as at 31 October. I understand it is still current.
(1) Yes. Planning for Western Australia's
10-year women's strategy is currently underway.
(2) Planning for the strategy includes an open
consultation process. Members of the community, not-for-profits , private
sector and government can contribute.
(3) The women's strategy
will be a public document and made available on completion.
