Hon Stephen Dawson replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question.Like
the rest of the Gidgegannup community, Gidgegannup Primary School relies on its
own individual water supply, including rainwater. Interruptions to the
Gidgegannup Primary School water supply have had a variety of causes, including
reduced rainfall, temporary power outages and mechanical issues. The system was
significantlyupgraded in 2023, with no microbial
detection events observed. The department has engaged a specialist toimplement
appropriate remediation measures.(1)Yes.(2)A manual search of records
indicates an estimated $20,000 as at 12 November 2025.
