(1) Yes.
(2) (a) $3m.
(b) The Department of Education and Training is currently working with the Department of Treasury and Finance to include the funding in its forward estimates.
(c) The Department will work with the school community to identify the priority needs of the school.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Environmental education programs that address climate change are delivered in schools through the Education for Sustainability Grants Program, which is administered through the Australian Government Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
The Western Australian Government is working towards developing a range of policies and programs that will be implemented to address issues of climate change. These will evolve during the term of government.
