The Office of Crime Prevention undertook a thorough review of the Western Australian crime prevention structures, including Safer WA, in 2002. The review is contributing to the development of the State Strategy, which takes a whole of government approach. The report of the findings of the review can be found on the website www.crimeprevention.wa.gov.au. All Members of the Western Australian Parliament were sent a copy of the Safer W.A. review on 18 October 2002. The State Strategy will be evaluated and the performance of agencies in contributing to the Strategy will be part of that evaluation.
The State Strategy will be evaluated and the performance of agencies in contributing to the Strategy will be part of that evaluation.
