Minister for Planning:
I refer to the public housing waitlist.
(1) How many public homes are in the stock?
(2) How many applications are on the public housing waitlist?
(3) How many people are represented by the applications on
the public housing waitlist?
(4) How many
applications are on the priority public housing waitlist?
(5) How many
people are represented by the applications on the priority public housing
waitlist?

question.
The following response has been provided by the Minister for
Housing.
(1) As of 30 June 2024, there were 36 999 public housing
properties statewide.
(2)–(5)
As at 30 June 2024, there were 20 264 applications on the public housing
waitlist statewide. This includes 5 679 priority applications.
