I refer to Budget Paper 2, Volume 1, page 340 under Private Sector Contracts Expenses, and note part of the contract with Serco at Fiona Stanley Hospital is for the provision of security guards, and ask: (a) is it true that the Department of Health also employs it's own security guards at Fiona Stanley Hospital, in addition to those employed by Serco; (b) how many security guards Full Time Equivalent (FTE) are employed by Serco, and how many by the Department at Fiona Stanley Hospital; (c) why are there two types of security guards at the hospital; (d) are Serco security guards permitted to respond to Code Black security incidents at the hospital; and (e) if not, why not?
