LAND VALUATION TRIBUNAL, REMUNERATION OF MEMBERS
I refer to question without notice 985 of Thursday, 20 December, which was directed to the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure and in which I sought information on the total remuneration paid to each member, including the chairman, of the Land Valuation Tribunal. The minister’s reply advised of only the hourly rate paid to each member since his or her appointment, and not the total remuneration. In seeking to clarify this information, I have been advised verbally by the office of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure that to gain the information on the total remuneration paid to members of the tribunal, I must direct my question to the Treasurer. Therefore, can the Treasurer advise of the total remuneration that has been paid to each member since his or her appointment to the Land Valuation Tribunal? Hon TOM STEPHENS
