(1) Applicants were directed to the relevant web sites by the advertisement which contained references to the State's Multicultural Charter, substantive policy and legislation in the context of the position.
(2) The position is a Senior Executive Service (SES) position as defined by the public
Sector Management Act 1994
. All SES positions are required to contain a minimum set of essential selection criteria that reflect the capabilities that have been identified as the key success factors that the Government requires from its current and future leaders. The SES selection criteria are determined by the Public Sector Commissioner.
(3) Applicants are required to address the selection criteria for the position in the context of the position. This is stated in the Job Description statement for the position.
