WA FAMILY FOUNDATION TRUST — FUNDING CUTS
Can the minister explain why the budget for the Department for Communities includes a cut of more than 30 per cent to the WA Family Foundation Trust, which provides funds to community projects that support family development and community values? Hon ROBYN McSWEENEY

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for the question. The family fund has been cut in line with the three per cent dividend. There is still $376 000 in that fund, which will be distributed as normal. When community groups need extra funding, I will look at their proposals and that is what that money will be used for.
