In relation to the Queen Victoria (Fremantle Traffic) Bridge, I ask:
(a) what funds have been spent on upgrades or maintenance of the Queen Victoria (Fremantle Traffic) Bridge for the years 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12;
(b) what is the current total estimated cost to construct a replacement traffic bridge;
(c) what is the current total estimated cost to construct a replacement bridge that includes a separate freight rail bridge as well as a road bridge; and
(d) has the State Government sought Federal Government funding for the replacement traffic bridge?

Main Roads Western Australia advises:
(a) $140 000 in 2009/10, $40 000 in 2010/11 and $10,000 in 2011/12.
(b) Approximately $180 million.
(c) Approximately $230 million.
(d) If the final preferred option includes a rail element then the project may be eligible for funding from the Federal Government's Nation Building 2 Program.
