I refer to the
Surveillance Devices Act 1998
Annual Report 2011-2012, and I ask —
(1) Since answering my question without notice No. 666 on 15 September 2010, has Western Australia Police introduced a central record of the number of convictions achieved as a result of product obtained via warrant pursuant to the
Surveillance Devices Act 1998
?
(2) If yes to (1), how many convictions were achieved in 2011-2012 as a result of product obtained via such a warrant?
(3) If no to (1), what is the current reason for this?
(4) Subsequent to the destruction of product (relating to 900 warrants accumulated over 13 years of interception) described in the answer to question without notice No. 666, in relation to how many further warrants has product been destroyed?
