(b)        The Town of Victoria Park initially participated in the design consultation process on one governance and three working groups.
Since that time, the elected Council has resolved to oppose the Perth Park project.
In late November 2025, the Town of Victoria Park Administration officially withdrew from all groups.
As the Mayor of the Town of Victoria Park, Karen Vernon, has said, ‘large projects usually attract opposition from some quarters.’
