Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(1-2) All Ministers and the Speaker, President and Leader of the Opposition have access to driver services through a pool arrangement provided by the Department's Executive Transport Services Branch. The Premier and Deputy Premier have a dedicated driver based in their Ministerial Office.
(3) $1,736,138.07
(4) As per Part 3, Section 4, Clause 4.2 of the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal Determination, the following Ministers have received approval from the Tribunal to have a vehicle for electorate use:
? Hon Troy Buswell MLA - Treasurer; Minister for Commerce; Science and Innovation; Housing and Works
? Hon Robyn McSweeney MLC - Minister for Child Protection; Community Services; Seniors and Volunteering; Women's Interests
? Hon Dr Graham Jacobs MLA - Minister for Water; Mental Health
? Hon John Castrilli MLA - Minister for Local Government; Heritage; Citizenship and Multicultural Interests; and
? Hon Terry Redman MLA - Minister for Agriculture and Food; Forestry; Minister Assisting the Minister for Education
(5) The following MPs have an extra government vehicle as a result of an office held:
? Hon Barry House MLC - President of the Legislative Council; Member for Southwest Region
? Hon Matthew Benson-Lidholm MLC - Deputy President and Chairman of Committees; Member for Agricultural Region; and
? The five Ministers identified in part (4).
(a) The lease cost of those 7 vehicles provided as a result of an office held is $177,470 p.a.
