(a-b) The Chief Medical Officer did not play a role in the authorisation process. The Chief Health Officer provided advice to the State Emergency Coordinator, on request, on matters related to entry to Western Australia.
International entry to Australia required Commonwealth Government approval. Interstate border exemptions were handled by the State Emergency Coordinater.
