COMMISSIONER OF
POLICE — GREG ITALIANO
383. Mrs M.H. ROBERTS to the Minister for Police:
I have a supplementary question.
Mr T.R. Buswell :
How far were your fingers into the pie? You got rid of Barry Matthews, didn't
you?
Mrs M.H. ROBERTS :
Sorry; you are going to allow the bullyboy to keep interrupting, are you?
The SPEAKER :
Member for Midland!
Several members interjected.
Mrs M.H. ROBERTS :
The Treasurer is sitting there to provide protection to the Minister for
Police. That is his role there, is it not?
Mr T.R. Buswell : I
don't think she needs it—not from you!
Mrs M.H. ROBERTS :
Is that why you are sitting there?
Several members interjected.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Warnbro, I formally call you to order for the
first time today. Member for Mandurah, I formally call you to order for the
first time today. Treasurer, I am going to formally call you to order for the
first time.
Mrs
M.H. ROBERTS : My third question was: has the minister spoken to the
Commissioner of Police about his relationship with Mr Italiano? The minister
has not answered that. I would like to know whether she has spoken to the
commissioner, since she feels that is appropriate, and what is happening with
Mr Italiano?
