Pursuant to clause 4(2) of the “Deed of Covenant – Port Kennedy Development Project Agreement” WABGR requested an extension of the completion date for the priority works to 5 June 2003, to allow for installation of picnic shelters to the upgraded picnic area at Port Kennedy. A preliminary site inspection by the Department for Planning and Infrastructure confirmed that the works had been carried out by the 5 June deadline, however, the Department and the City of Rockingham will be undertaking a detailed inspection of the works to confirm satisfactory completion in accordance with the terms of the Deed of Covenant. 3.
