When last I inquired of the progress of the inquiry into the City of Belmont, the minister provided me with information that the report would be completed in October. (1) Has the minister received that report? (2) If yes to (1), has the minister released a copy of the report to the City of Belmont, or, alternatively, when does the minister expect to release a copy of the report to the city? (3) If the report has not been received, when does the minister now expect to receive the report? (4) Does the minister intend to publish that report? Hon TOM STEPHENS
AnswerView source ↗
(1)-(4) No report on the City of Belmont has been drawn to my attention. Therefore, I presume that my office has not received the report that I previously advised would be completed by October. However, that report may have been received and my office may not yet have had the opportunity to draw it to my attention. I always wonder whether someone will come rushing through the door with a note to say that it has been received but that my office has not had a chance to go through it. I will make further inquiries and will advise on the stage that the report has reached once I have that information to hand. I have just received advice that the report will now be completed by early November. The information I have been given is dated 5 November. I will read through the information to see what else I can tell members.
