I refer to the West Pilbara Water Supply Scheme (WPWSS), and I ask:
(a) in the Minister's words, what is the WPWSS;
(b) what infrastructure forms part of the WPWSS;
(c) which private sector entities have ownership interests in the assets of the WPWSS:
(i) what is the extent of the ownership interests of those entities referred to at (c);
(d) in reference to the Millstream Water Reserve Water Supply (MWRWS), and the Bungaroo Coastal Water Supply Borefield (BCWSB), which carry water to the coast:
(i) what is the total combined capacity, as a function of volume over time, of the pipline(s) carrying water from the MWRWS & BCWSB to the coast;
(ii) are there any plans to increase the capacity of those pipelines referred to at (d)(i);
(iii) if yes to (d)(ii), would the Minister please table these plans;
(iv) are works currently underway to increase the capacity of those pipelines referred to at (d)(i); and
(v) if yes to (d)(iv), would the Minister please advise on the progress of these works, in a general sense;
(e) what total volumes of water have been supplied by the WPWSS, per year, and for every year, since 1 May 2009:
(i) of the amount in (e), what volume has been supplied by the WPWSS:
(A) for residential use, per year, and for every year, since 1 May 2009;
(B) for industrial use, per year, and for every year, since 1 May 2009; and
(C) under bulk supply - or other agreements outside of residential or industrial use - , per year, and for every year, since 1 May 2009;
(f) within the boundaries of the City of Karratha, are there major water users that are not supplied by the WPWSS;

(h) are new water sources being investigated to supplement or supply the WPWSS:

(a) The West Pilbara Water Supply Scheme (WPWSS) supplies water for residential, commercial and industrial use to a number of towns in the West Pilbara, including Karratha, Wickham, Roebourne, Dampier and Point Samson and major industrial customers on the Burrup Peninsula. (b) Harding Dam and Millstream borefield are water sources operated by the Water Corporation supplying water into the WPWSS. The scheme consists of treatment facilities at both sources. Transfer pump stations and approximately 886km of pipework to deliver source water via 17 storage tanks to the townships of Karratha, Dampier, Roebourne, Wickham and Point Samson.
