(1 - 2) The State Government has not made a decision. When planning for career and volunteer fire stations, DFES examines a number of factors, including population changes, industry and urban development, infrastructure growth, bushfire risk and any other associated risks.
(3) No decision has been made, the next priority location for a career fire station replacement is the Kensington career fire and rescue station.
(4) Resource-to-risk is not represented by a ratio.
(5) Yes along with population growth and movement, resource-to-risk takes into account such parameters as natural hazards, population projections, infrastructure including roads, rail and ports, government services, schools, hospitals, and complex multi-storey structures.
(6) No planning has been undertaken as no decision has been made. The cost of career fire and rescue stations are published through the normal budgetary process.
