Nick Goiran, who is absent on urgent parliamentary business.
I refer to the statutory reviews of
our state's laws.

with section 31 of the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Agreements Act
1985?
(2) Has a statutory
review been conducted under section 83 of the Retirement Villages Act 1992 since
the ''Statutory Review of Retirement Villages Legislation: Final Report'',
published in November 2010?
(3) If yes to (1) or (2), will the
minister table the review reports?
(4) If no to (1) or (2), have the
reviews commenced?
(5) If yes to
(4), when did they commence and when does the minister expect these reviews to
be completed and the reports tabled?

urgent parliamentary business, because Hon Nick Goiran is assiduous in making
sure that that is clear at all times on Hansard .
The following information has been provided by the Minister
for Commerce.
(1) A review of the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops)
Agreements Act 1985, which commenced in April 2019, is currently
underway. It is expected to be completed and a report tabled during the second
half of 2022.
(2) A public
consultation process is currently underway in respect of stage 2 of the
implementation of the recommendations of the 2010 ''Statutory Review of
Retirement Villages Legislation: Final Report''.
(3) Not applicable.
