995. Hon Norm Kelly to the Attorney General representing the Minister for Forest Products:
(1) Is Colli Timber Products engaged in discounting jarrah for the domestic housing structural timber market?
(2) Is it correct that the company is selling structural jarrah for about $450 per cubic metre, compared to the current market price for pine timber of about $520 per cubic metre?
(3) Does such discounting fit within the Governments announcement of a jarrah strategy to limit the use of jarrah for basic structural timber?
(4) How is Colli Timber Products able to offer such discounts without operating at a loss?
