I refer to the WA Taxi User Subsidy Scheme (TUSS) and ask: (a) can the Minister please advise if the Department of Transport is investigating the possibility of introducing a smart card system to replace the current taxi voucher system used in respect of the TUSS; similar to the systems already in place in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and the Northern Territory; (b) if a smart card is proposed when will it be introduced; and (c) if the Minister is not progressing this proposal, why not?
