MAIN ROADS - EXPENDITURE
At the 2006 road forum held in Geraldton yesterday, Tuesday, 4 April, the minister announced that $946 million was spent by Main Roads in the last financial year. Will the minister provide the house with a breakdown of that expenditure, including capital expenditure, maintenance, administration, depreciation, capital user charges and any other details? As the member pointed out, Main Roads’ expenditure in the past financial year was approximately $946 million, which was a record expenditure for that agency and clear evidence of the state government’s commitment to road users across the state.
