Further to Question on Notice No. 225 answered on the 15 May 2013 detailing that the Department for Housing has 12 lots of undeveloped land in Mirrabooka, Alexander Heights, and Balga, I ask: (a) what are the lot addresses; (b) have any of the 12 lots been sold since 15 May 2013; (c) have any of these lots been developed under the State Affordable Housing Strategy; (d) have any of the new lots been developed to meet the urgent demand for public housing in the North Metropolitan region; (e) have any new lots been acquired in these suburbs by the Department for Housing; (f) what negotiations has the Department for Housing had with the City of Stirling to ensure that the nine sites awaiting local area amendments is undertaken in a timely manner; and (g) has the feasibility assessment occurred for the three remaining sites said to be developed in the near future in answer to Question on Notice No. 225?

One lot has been acquired from the Western Australian Planning Commission (Lot 800 Crabtree St, Alexander Heights) and is undergoing rezoning.

The Department of Housing and the City of Stirling have been involved in ongoing communication and negotiations. The City of Stirling is finalising a draft structure plan for the Mirrabooka Town Centre and is expected to be advertised for comment in late 2014. An application for approval is anticipated to be lodged with the Western Australian Planning Commission in early 2015.

Of the three sites, two lots are nearing contract signing and will be prepared for construction as stated at (c) and the third site is undergoing rezoning.
