I thank the member for the question.
(1) This
project is being managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and
Attractions. Stage 1 is progressing, with the trail from Wellington Dam wall to
Coalfields Highway completed and signage in place. The trail head signage is
currently being developed and the camp site is under construction. Stage 2,
Hamilton Bridge to Collie, is on a Main Roads WA reserve and DBCA is currently
seeking approval from Main Roads for access to the reserve to progress the
project.
(2) This grant
is being managed through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural
Industries. That department is working with Motoring South West to progress the
funding agreement by the end of November to enable the project to proceed.
(3) This grant
is being managed through the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and
Innovation. Tourism WA is working with the Shire of Dardanup and Ferguson
Valley Marketing to develop a grant agreement to enable the project to proceed.
Tourism WA anticipates the grant agreement will be finalised by the end of
November. Funding is expected to be used for a number of activities including
marketing and signage.
