RESIDENTIAL PARKS
(LONG-STAY TENANTS) ACT 2006 — REVIEW
725. Hon KATE DOUST to the Minister for Commerce:
I refer to a question that I asked
on 21 April about the Residential Parks (Long-stay Tenants) Act 2006 review. I
asked when the recommendation report would be finalised and the Minister for
Commerce told me the decision regulatory impact statement was expected to be
finalised by midyear. We are now at the middle of the year and there is a lot
of anticipation from both sides of the sector that are waiting for that report.
I ask again: when will that report be made public?

It will be very shortly. I had a
meeting with representatives from the department only a little while ago and
work is being finalised on it.
