1248. Hon KATE DOUST to the
minister representing the Minister for Water:
(1) Can the
Minister for Water confirm that, at the Busselton office of the Department of
Water, there are approximately six staff currently employed through labour hire
firm Manpower; and, if yes —
(a) what is the length of duration
for each contract; and
(b) how much money is each
contract worth?
(2) If no to (1) —
(a) what labour hire firms does
the department utilise;
(b) how much money was spent last
financial year on labour hire firms; and
(c) how much
money has the department spent on labour hire firms in this current financial
year to date?

contract values are: contract 1, $9 399; contract 2, $20 288; contract 3, $39 948;
contract 4, $42 066; contract 5, $19 799; and contract 6, $13 214.
