NATIONAL PARKS, SIX NEW PARKS 234. Mr OMODEI to the Minister for the Environment and Heritage: I refer the minister to a glossy government brochure entitled “Name your new national parks”, which seeks public submissions for the naming of six new national parks to be established from old-growth forests. Will the minister advise the House which of the six new national parks is depicted on the front cover of that brochure? Dr EDWARDS

I thank the member for the question. I am delighted that he is taking an interest in this matter, and I hope that he encourages people in his electorate to nominate names to the Conservation Commission. Unfortunately, in the time since he gave notice of the question, I have not been able to get the information. However, if the member puts the question on notice, I will get back to him with an answer.
