Valuers use the comparison of transactions occurring in the market place to the property to be valued as the primary valuation method. This is further supported by a number of technical approaches and a wealth of experience and local knowledge. Western Australia has a lower objection rate to valuations than any other State and is one of the few jurisdictions with a regulation system that meets international standards. If the Member can be more specific in framing his question, I will respond in more detail.
