SELF-DEFENCE LAWS —
REVIEW
1082. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Attorney General:
Before I ask my question without
notice, I want to recognise the students and staff from South West John Calvin
Christian College in Capel, who are in the public gallery.
I refer to media reports on and
around 11 September 2019 in which the Attorney General is reported as having
said that he will personally review the murder conviction of Jody Gore to see
whether the state's self-defence laws need to be changed.
(1) On what date did that review
commence?
(2) Who is assisting the Attorney
General with the review?
(3) What are the terms of reference
of the review?
(4) On what date is the review
planned to be completed?
