(1) During the month of May 2016, there were 719 new Safety and Wellbeing Assessments recorded in the following districts:
Armadale – 43
Cannington – 44
Crisis Care – 29
East Kimberley – 34
Fremantle – 23
Goldfields – 25
Great Southern – 49

Midland – 27
Mirrabooka – 43
Murchison – 48
Peel – 46
Perth – 23

(2) As at 31 May 2016, there were four children in care for more than 30 days with no planning recorded.
The Department’s policy for planning for children in care is that a plan is recorded within 30 calendar days. The previous policy was 20 working days. Working days cannot be reported by the Department database and the answer is provided within 30 calendar days.
(3) As at 31 May 2016, there were 635 Safety and Wellbeing Assessments open for more than 90 days in the following districts:
