I have a supplementary question. Will the Premier now apologise for smearing the reputation of our hardworking policemen and policewomen for base political purposes? Dr G.I. GALLOP

Everything that I have said in response to the royal commission report is based upon what is in that report. The real question is: when will the Liberal Party of Western Australia apologise to the people of Western Australia for not calling a royal commission back in the 1990s? Do members know what that means? Certain police officers who were corrupt have got away with it. Where does the responsibility for that lie? It lies with the Liberal Party.
