I refer to the media statement released on 3 September 2024 titled 'Albany wave energy device ready for launch', and I ask : (a) What was the total cost of the device, please provide a breakdown by line item including but not limited to; tendering costs, construction costs, labour costs etc; (b) On what date will the device be deployed; and (c) What are the expected ongoing operating costs of the device, please provide a breakdown by line item?

a) The State contributed $1.55 million to the project. The total project cost and individual cost components will not be available until the project has been completed and acquitted by the various project partners.
(b) The device is scheduled to be deployed in October 2024, subject to the suitability of weather conditions.
(c) The State’s contribution was limited to $1.55 million for construction of the M4 prototype.
