479. Hon COLIN HOLT to the minister representing the
Minister for Emergency Services:
I refer to the survey of emergency
service volunteers being conducted by the Department of Fire and Emergency
Services and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development
requesting feedback on the volunteer fuel card scheme.
(1) Would the minister please table
a copy of the survey?
(2) To how many recipients was the
survey sent?
(3) Would the minister please
provide a list of the people to whom the survey was sent?
(4) What is the target response rate
for the survey?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services
advises the following.
(1) I table a copy of the survey.
[See paper 1435.]
(2) The survey was sent to 11 376
recipients.
(3) The survey
was sent to all volunteers who have a registered email address with DFES,
including officers in charge of all brigades, groups and units.
(4) The anticipated response rate
was 10 per cent; however, this has been significantly exceeded.
