(1) I understand that previous State governments have given undertakings to consider and prepare nominations for sites that meet the requirements for listing as Wetlands of International Importance.
(2) I am aware that work has been done on reviewing and preparing for Government consideration information on up to eight candidate sites that could be considered for nomination.
(3) The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC), with input from the Wetlands Coordinating Committee, is preparing documentation on possible candidate sites and will forward completed reports to me for my consideration.
(3) (a) and (b) I will consider completed proposals when I receive them.
