I refer to the Minister's answer in Estimates questions in which it was stated that "no A-series or B-series trains have been retired", and I ask: (a) what is the plan or schedule for eventual retirement of older trains as part of the replacement program, as the new C-series trains roll out?

(a) The current plan for the A-series railcars is to retire the full fleet by the end of 2029.
There are currently no plans in place for the retirement of the B-series railcars.
