I refer to the Water Corporation's decision in March 2012 to replace One Call with Altus Traffic as the preferred contractor for traffic management in the North, and I ask -
(1) Why was One Call's status as preferred contractor under review?
(2) Was there any suggestion of staff inducements being offered by One Call?
(3) If yes to (2), what, if any, investigation was undertaken of any such allegations?
(4) Please detail -
(a) which authorities were involved in the investigation;
(b) what 'inducements' were allegedly received;
(c) what were the outcomes of this investigation; and
(d) has, or will, this investigation be taken to the police and/or the Crime and Corruption Commission?
(5) What, if any, safe guards have been put in place to avoid a similar situation arising again?

The Water Corporation was not involved in the decision to replace One Call with Altus as the provider of traffic management services. These are matters between the Corporation's contractor, previously Swan Water and currently Programmed Facility Management (PRA) Pty Ltd, and One Call.
