I refer to the answer to question on notice 47 answered on 20 May 2025 on upgrades to vehicles to adjust their Gross Combination Mass (GCM) allowable, and I ask:(a) which companies have sent model testing to the Department of Transport for approval of testing regimes;(b) which companies have passed GCM testing models and are approved to test GCM;(c) which of those companies approved in (b) test in Western Australia;(d) which vehicle models have passed GCM testing and are approved for use for towing;(e) which of the models in (d) have been tested in Western Australia;(f) how many applications for GCM testing are outstanding; and(g) how many applications for GCM testing have been refused?

(a) Lovells, Omega Engineering, and JMACX .
(b) Lovells has had one application approved for GCM re-rating. The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure does not approve a company to test GCM re-ratings. Companies or individuals provide engineering reports to the Department addressing the criteria in the Vehicle Technical Bulletin (VTB-181A) and if approved, the company/individual may perform the modifications as part of the GCM re-rating.
(c) None.
(d) Lovells has approval for the Toyota Landcruiser 300 series.
(e) None.
(f) Five.
