(1-7) Canning Bridge transit interchange has been identified for upgrades. The Public Transport Authority has developed a preliminary concept design for a new dedicated bus rail interchange at Canning Bridge. The PTA is currently working with Main Roads WA to ensure the final concept is compatible with planning to upgrade the Canning Highway/Kwinana Freeway traffic interchange. Primary objectives of the final concept design will be to optimise the bus rail interchange function, as well as pedestrian accessibility to and through the interchange area.  A timeframe for the works has not yet been determined.
