The current balance of the ORV account as at 26 June 2023, is $821,026,17
a)      The ORV Committee has recently been appointed and successful nominees have been notified. The first meeting of the ORV Committee is expected to occur in early August.
b)      All recent spending decisions were supported by the former ORV Committee
c)       The DoT Direct upgrades are complex and the transition to fully online registration is likely to take 24 months to finalise. DLGSC is working with DoT to determine the feasibility of transitional provisions to permit online registration while DoT Direct is upgraded.
NOTE:
The ORV Committee has no formal role in funding approvals from the ORV account but the DLGSC considers it best practice to seek input from the ORV Committee on all signifcant funding decisions
