I refer to the State Infrastructure Strategy Progress Report released in December 2023, pages 25-31 titled "Planning and coordination", specifically "Strategy recommendation and government action/s", and I ask: (a) With reference to recommendation 32 "Develop and implement a shared-use policy framework and practical guidelines for multi-user infrastructure corridors and facilities" Action 49 "Undertake further research and provide advice to the WA Government to inform a policy decision on multi-user infrastructure corridors": (i) Have any deliverables for this action been determined: (A) If not, why not; (ii) When will these specific deliverables be identified; and (iii) Are steps currently being taken to assist in the identification of specific deliverables: (A) If yes, please identify each action being taken to assist with the determination of specific deliverables? (B) Please identify each individual stakeholder including government agencies, industry groups and other key stakeholders that are being engaged with to assist in determining specific deliverables?

(a) (i – iii) As stated in the WA Government’s response to the State Infrastructure Strategy (tabled in parliament in 2022), recommendation 32 was partially supported. Further research will be undertaken to provide advice to Government to inform future policy decisions on multi-user infrastructure corridors, noting that the timeframe for completion of this activity is 2032.
