I have a supplementary question. Does the Department of Environment have independent scientific evidence about the stratification in Cockburn Sound? Dr J.M. EDWARDS

AnswerView source ↗

I have already answered that question. This matter has been scrutinised very carefully by the EPA. A lot of information has been looked at. The final decision is that, as the Water Corporation starts to do this work and to commission the plant, it must have an environmental management plan to make sure it can manage the question of stratification. I remain confident that we are able to do that.
