I refer to Synergy’s
engagement of McKinsey & Company as part of its “business efficiency programme”, and I ask: (a) has McKinsey
completed its services to Synergy in relation to the business efficiency
programme and advice concerning efficiency measures; (b) If yes, what was the
final cost of McKinsey’s services; (c) has McKinsey
requested an extension of the contract in order to provide further advice to
Synergy in relation to efficiency measures; (d) If yes to (c), was that
request agreed to or approved; (e) If no to (c), why not; (f) did one
recommendation from McKinsey include moving Synergy call centre operators “off
shore” or interstate; and (g) If yes to (f), has this
recommendation been agreed to?
