commenced, what is the expected completion date?
(3) For those dwellings with works
yet to commence, what is the expected commencement date?
(4) How many dwellings have had
their work completed?
(5) How many dwellings have been

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following response has been provided by the
Minister for Housing.
(1-4) The state
government owns or manages a total of 1 009 dwellings across 37 flood impacted
communities. As of 13 June 2023, the
Department of Communities has identified 142 flood-affected government-owned or managed residential dwellings that require a works program. Of the 142
dwellings, 119 require either minor or major refurbishment, 96 have had works
commenced or completed and 77 dwellings have so far been made safe and habitable, with residents able to return
home. The time lines for individual dwellings are significantly dependent on
the extent of works required.
(5) Currently 20 dwellings require
a rebuild.
