(1) Will the minister confirm that the Metropolitan Health Service Board is the legal entity responsible for the government’s mental health services in Western Australia? (2) Will the minister confirm that staff who work in the government’s mental health services are the employees of, and therefore accountable to, the MHSB? (3) Will the minister confirm that he himself has been the MHSB for at least the past three years? (4) In light of the third damning report from the Council of Official Visitors in three years, has a complaint been referred to police about the minister in his capacity of the MHSB, or any other person having responsibility towards a person in the mental health system, for ill-treating or wilfully neglecting patients as per section 162 of the Mental Health Act 1996?
