I refer to the media report “Hames goes trolley shopping” from the Weekend West on the 3 October 2015, and I ask: (a) noting the claims of extra staff for Emergency Department wards, can the Minister please identify the additional positions created at tertiary hospitals including: (i) level; (ii) FTE designation; and (iii) the date the position was created?

(a)(i-iii) No additional positions were created for Emergency Department wards at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH), Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH).
St John Ambulance Association provided two additional paramedic/nursing staff at the 'front door' of the Emergency Departments at RPH, FSH and SCGH from approximately 1.00pm to 9.00pm Monday to Friday.
