NORTHBRIDGE LINK PROJECT - COST ESTIMATES
I refer to the minister’s media statement dated 17 May 2005, in which she announced a $25 million project for the undergrounding of part of the Perth to Fremantle railway line to reunite the central business district with Northbridge, and her media statement dated 3 January 2007 in which she announced the $330 million Northbridge link project. (1) What are the current cost estimates of these projects? (2) What are the major components of the Northbridge link project that have increased in cost in the four months since the announcement on 3 January 2007? (3) Which agency provided the original project cost estimates? (4) What is the current status of these projects? Hon KATE DOUST
