Minister for Homelessness.
(1)–(4) The
Department of Communities advises that the information requested cannot be
provided in the time available. Should the member wish to place the question on
notice, the minister will endeavour to provide a response. This year the Cook
government has announced nearly $140 million in additional funding for
homelessness services across the state, including a major investment into the
expansion of Housing First support services
to support a regional expansion of the supportive landlord model, which are key
initiatives under All paths lead to a home: Western Australia's
10-year strategy on homelessness 2020–2030 . Some homelessness
service providers are also funded to provide brokerage funding directly to
clients, including for accommodation.
